- Turnkey installation to supply high purity hydrogen to research facilities to undertake H2 systems, Fuel cell and H2 engine research.
- Excess H2 will be used to support building heating (via converted boiler system).
- Electricity will be supplemented by a large roof mounted solar array
Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) - Sheffield Business Park
The aviation industry is responsible for around seven per cent of total carbon emissions and this number is growing fast.
- Turnkey installation to supply high purity hydrogen to produce renewable synthetic fuels to support research activity in innovating systems which eliminate/mitigate CO2 emissions.
- Researchers from Sheffield will work with partners in the aviation industry to develop new hydrogen and CO2-based fuels that meet these strict standards.
