As a flagship project for the region, the project is subsidized with 53% by the state of Lower Saxony and the European Fund for
Regional Development.
With the ambition to find a standard solution for agricultural biogas plants, 2.7 t bio-LNG per day will be produced which equals 3.500l diesel equivalent. This saves around 7,000 t of CO2 per year in heavy goods traffic.
